My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is grounded in cultural responsiveness, curiosity, and deep respect for your lived experience. I believe healing happens in relationship—especially when you feel seen, heard, and supported as your full self. I work collaboratively and relationally, creating a space that feels safe, connected, and empowering.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and narrative therapy to support insight, emotional resilience, and meaningful change. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, identity questions, or the stress of caregiving and systemic harm, I tailor our work to your needs and strengths.
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong”—it’s about exploring what’s been hard and honoring how you’ve learned to survive. We’ll untangle patterns, clarify values, and build tools to help you move forward. I offer a space for reflection, healing, and connection so you can return to yourself with more clarity, compassion, and strength.
Why I am a Good Fit for You
As a Native therapist offering culturally responsive care, I bring lived experience and deep respect for the complexity of identity, community, and healing. I’m committed to creating a space that affirms and uplifts BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, neurodivergent, and caregiving clients. Therapy should reflect the realities of our lives—including systemic oppression, intergenerational trauma, and collective resilience. I value authenticity, connection, and curiosity in our work together.
My background as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker includes training in trauma-informed care, CBT, narrative therapy, and mindfulness. I became a therapist because I believe healing is not just personal—it’s political, cultural, and relational. I'm especially passionate about supporting folks who haven’t always felt fully seen in traditional therapy spaces. If you’re looking for a therapist who will honor your story and hold space for both pain and possibility, I’d be honored to work with you.
