My Ideal Client

Are you feeling stuck, weighed down by your past, or noticing that your relationship has drifted under the pressures of work, kids, and life? You don’t have to face these challenges alone—and change is possible. I help both individuals, families and couples move past what’s holding them back and reclaim connection, clarity, and confidence.

How I Can Help You

For individuals, I specialize in trauma and use proven, evidence-based approaches including DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Together, we’ll process past experiences, manage overwhelming emotions, and help you build lasting resilience so you can step fully into your potential. For couples, I use the Gottman Method, a research-backed approach that helps partners improve communication, deepen intimacy, and rebuild trust. If you feel like you’ve drifted apart, I’ll help you reconnect and create a relationship that feels supportive, balanced, and fulfilling. Whether you’re seeking personal/ family growth or a stronger, more connected relationship, I provide a safe, inclusive space and the guidance you need to transform struggles into meaningful, lasting change.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

Before joining The Path Center, I worked at a child- and family-focused clinic in Southeast Portland, where I provided support to marginalized youth and their families. I also co-led groups at The Portland DBT Institute, where I helped young adults, ages 18-25, develop crucial skills for understanding and managing emotions while navigating the challenges of chronic health conditions and mood disorders. Through my work with children, families, and adults, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the vital role early connections play in fostering emotional resilience. Being married for 17 years and raising five children has given me firsthand insight into the joys and struggles that come with balancing individual identity, nurturing a partnership, and navigating the complexities of parenting. I understand how these roles can sometimes feel overwhelming or conflicting, and I bring this lived experience into my work to create a compassionate and understanding space for my clients.
