My Ideal Client

I specialize in systemic, trauma-informed therapy for adults, couples, and families navigating complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and attachment issues—and I also work with individuals across various age groups. My approach helps clients recognize and transform patterns that impact their relationships, family dynamics, and emotional well-being.

How I Can Help You

I offer a safe, inclusive space where all identities, family structures, and relationship dynamics are welcomed. My approach is collaborative and compassionate—we’ll work together to bring healing, connection, and clarity back into your life. Whether you're an individual navigating a life transition, a couple working through relationship challenges, or a family seeking meaningful change and support, you'll find a grounded, down-to-earth, and genuinely supportive presence in our work together. As a woman of color, I understand how hard it can be to find a therapist who “gets it.” I hold space for those navigating generational trauma, cultural expectations, and the beauty and complexity of family traditions—while also learning to set boundaries and honor your individual needs.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

Before joining The Path Center, I worked at a child- and family-focused clinic in Southeast Portland, where I provided support to marginalized youth and their families. I also co-led groups at The Portland DBT Institute, where I helped young adults, ages 18-25, develop crucial skills for understanding and managing emotions while navigating the challenges of chronic health conditions and mood disorders. Through my work with children, families, and adults, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the vital role early connections play in fostering emotional resilience. Being married for 17 years and raising five children has given me firsthand insight into the joys and struggles that come with balancing individual identity, nurturing a partnership, and navigating the complexities of parenting. I understand how these roles can sometimes feel overwhelming or conflicting, and I bring this lived experience into my work to create a compassionate and understanding space for my clients.
