My Ideal Client

I've always been fascinated by how relationships shape who we become. They influence how we see ourselves, how we navigate challenges, and even how we understand ourselves. I believe the therapeutic relationship is no different. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely understood, accepted, and supported so we can explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped you. We all have different parts of ourselves that can sometimes pull us in different directions.

My Approach to Helping

My approach is relational and collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help guide our conversations in a way that encourages exploration, offers new perspectives, and supports you in better understanding yourself. I primarily draw from person-centered therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailoring my approach to your unique needs and goals. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults navigating a wide range of life's challenges. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, a major life transition, or simply looking to better understand yourself, my hope is to help you connect with yourself in a way that allows you to make choices aligned with the life you want to live. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University. My work with adolescents, adults, and families has taught me that people are shaped by a wide range of relationships, experiences, and circumstances.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I use he/him pronouns. When I'm not in the therapy office, you'll usually find me riding my bike around Portland, skateboarding in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, camping, finding another excuse to enjoy the Pacific Northwest, or watching a good movie on a rainy day.
