My Ideal Client
Ren is currently a CSWA while pursuing her LCSW. She is working toward her Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor hours. Ren works with people seeking help for a variety of struggles including those seeking treatment for: Addictions Anxiety Bipolar Chronic Illness Depression
My Background and Approach
Ren is passionate about working with people to live their best life possible. She identifies as queer and a part of the LGBTQ+ community and works to be an inclusive therapist including being a poly and kink positive clinician. Rens work is rooted in the belief of the inherent worth and respect for all persons.
Ren started at community college and went on to earn a Bachelors of Liberal Studies for California State University Stanislaus. After teaching elementary and English as a forgein language, Ren went back to school for her Masters of Social Work from Walden University. She has worked in a variety of settings in social work and counseling.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Ren is a newcomer to Oregon (2020) and has embraced the Pacific Northwest lifestyle. When not playing with her three dogs, she is usually reading Jane Austen fanfic or playing Dungeons and Dragons with her spouse.
