My Ideal Client

You may be here because something doesn’t feel right. Maybe your child is behaving in ways you don’t fully understand, or withdrawing in ways that concern you. Maybe your teen is struggling with anxiety, school pressure, or emotions that feel too heavy for their age. Or maybe you’re an adult trying to make sense of everything you’ve been through while figuring out where you’re headed. If any of that sounds familiar, it’s okay to ask for support, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

My Approach to Helping

When I meet with someone in therapy, I want them to feel safe, heard, and never judged. I draw from trauma-focused approaches like TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Lifespan Integration, and parts work, such as Internal Family Systems. These tools help you or your child reconnect with parts of yourself that have been hurt, silenced, or misunderstood—and create space for healing. In session, we might talk about what’s going on at school, work, or home, but we’ll also explore what’s happening beneath the surface. Whether it’s fear, sadness, anger, or self-doubt, we’ll make space for those feelings. We’ll talk about them in ways that feel manageable. And together, we’ll explore how to make sense of your emotions, heal from what’s been painful, and grow in ways that feel right for you.

Why I Became a Therapist

Like many people, I faced challenges during adolescence and young adulthood that shaped the person I’ve become. My own healing journey led me to become a therapist. Over the years, I’ve studied psychology and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and I’ve come to deeply believe that therapy can be a turning point. It’s a space to pause, reflect, and rewrite the stories that may have shaped us, but don’t have to define us.
