My Ideal Client

You’ve been in treatment before, followed your meal plan, worked hard towards recovery - but the eating disorder still feels like it’s waiting in the background. You may wonder, “Is recovery really possible for me?” If you’re exhausted from fighting and longing for something more sustainable, I want you to know you’re not alone. I've been in recovery for 15 years myself, and working in the field for 8 years across Residential, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient levels of care.

My Approach to Helping

I approach counseling through a trauma-informed, collaborative, and compassionate lens. My work is grounded in Parts Work, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Health at Every Size (HAES). This means that our work will focus on increasing self-understanding, building emotional awareness, and processing present-moment experience.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every part of a person develops for a reason and deserves curiosity, compassion, and understanding rather than judgment. Together we will explore thoughts, emotions, relational patterns, and lived experiences to foster greater self-awareness, emotional healing, and more meaningful connections with yourself and others. I believe eating disorder recovery is achievable for everyone. Recovery can be sustainable, meaningful, and freeing. I’d be honored to help you find your way there.
