My Ideal Client

I primarily work with individuals who are experiencing career-related stress, processing traumatic experiences, or seeking personal growth. My goal is to empower clients as they navigate their unique journeys toward healing and development. My ideal client is motivated to learn and committed to making meaningful, positive changes. While achieving balance can be challenging, a willingness to explore new perspectives and develop effective coping strategies can lead to rewarding outcomes.

My Approach to Helping

I am committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly with clients working in high-stress and high-risk careers. Individuals in high-stress professions often face intense pressure related to job performance, personal relationships, and public safety responsibilities. These demands can lead to anxiety, depression, and strained connections with family members, colleagues, and the broader community. My passion involves supporting clients and their families as they navigate these challenges. I aim to empower clients with effective coping strategies and help them cultivate a strong sense of self-worth. Through a holistic approach that addresses mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, I guide clients in developing healthy habits and achieving a sustainable life balance that promotes healing and resilience.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am currently serving as an Intern Counselor while actively working toward obtaining my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Social Sciences from Western Oregon University and am in the process of completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. My background includes several years of experience on a peer support team within the first responder community, where I completed training in motivational interviewing and advanced training in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). I believe that with the right support and skills, anyone can make meaningful, positive changes in their life. My goal is to help individuals develop self-acceptance and effective coping strategies—tools that can guide them through life’s most challenging moments and empower them to achieve their personal goals.
