My Ideal Client

Are you feeling down? Anxious? Stuck? Are negative thoughts or worries impacting your work or even your relationships? At times it can feel like these patterns will never change and yet therapy provides a safe space to process thoughts, feelings & patterns. I believe in creating a safe space through mutual trust & understanding. This allows for self-exploration, growth & development. I believe that, in working collaboratively, we can identify problems & personalize your treatment direction.

My Approach to Helping

I take an evidence based approach and create effective therapy by tailoring treatment to my client's needs. In using my extensive experience and training in evidence based practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I can create personalized treatment for each client.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I help adults who have difficulty connecting with others because of daily struggles, such as, extreme sadness, worry, stress or trauma. I have experience working with veterans suffering from PTSD and other symptoms of trauma. Lastly, I specialize in working with individuals who are suffering from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and assertiveness issues as a result of witnessing and/or surviving domestic violence.
