My Ideal Client

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, caregiver stress, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who have spent years caring for others while neglecting their own needs. Together, we create a compassionate, judgment-free space to better understand patterns, build resilience, develop practical coping skills, and move toward a more authentic, meaningful life.

My Approach to Helping

My approach is to walk beside you, honoring your life and respecting your knowledge, helping you to be intentionally introspective about how you think and how thinking impacts your behaviors. I help you to understand what boundaries are, how to set them, evaluate their effectiveness, and process responses you may receive from setting a boundary. I help you identify how the language you are using can be supportive or limiting to your growth and recovery. I am gentle but direct; I challenge you to stretch, flex, and grow. I guide you on your specific path with accountability, encouragement, and resources. You will use prescriptive journaling with physical writing, homework utilizing multiple worksheets, and, as appropriate, workbooks and reading materials, both hardcopy and audible.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

Finding the right therapist is one of the most important parts of the therapeutic process. Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm, direct, and compassionate style. I balance warmth with honesty, creating a space where you can feel both supported and gently challenged. I believe people are more than their diagnoses or symptoms, and I approach each person with curiosity, respect, and the belief that meaningful change is possible. My background includes years of experience working with adults facing trauma, anxiety, depression, caregiver stress, relationship concerns, and significant life transitions. I understand that healing is rarely linear, and I tailor therapy to your unique experiences, strengths, values, and goals rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. If you’re looking for a therapist who will listen carefully, collaborate with you, and help you develop practical tools while gaining deeper insight into yourself, we may be a good fit.
