My Ideal Client

I understand that the past can largely dictate our present and future. I work to help people identify patterns and cycles from their family of origin as a tool to help navigate worn-out coping mechanisms. I have over 13 years experience helping clients with complicated relationships, grief and loss, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD and Addiction.

My Background and Approach

First and foremost I am your ally. I believe productive psychotherapy depends upon trust and safety that grows from a non-judgmental relationship. I have a background in Depth Psychology which holds that our unconscious can directly impact and inform the choices and decisions we make. I utilize a warm and curious approach and utilize tools from ACT, CBT, DBT, Rogerian, and Self Psychological approaches. I also am a member of the Climate Psychology Alliance and am passionate about helping people navigate climate distress.

Why I Became a Therapist

I became a therapist after experiencing a family tragedy. The therapy I received transformed how I experienced the grief process. After walking through this painful experience I decided to pursue becoming a Counseling Psychologist to help others navigate loss and complicated relationships.
