My Ideal Client

I work with adolescents (9+) and adults, couples, and families facing depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. My ideal clients are those who feel isolated by painful emotions or overwhelmed by life’s pressures, and who are ready to reconnect with themselves and others. I especially welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQI+ and culturally marginalized communities, seeking a compassionate, non-judgmental space for healing.

My Background and Approach

I earned my Masters in Counseling from Lewis & Clark in 2018 and have been practicing since then, offering a strength-based, evidence-informed approach to therapy. My work integrates modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and the Gottman & Gottman Methods, along with elements of Bowenism, Expressive Arts, and Narrative therapy. Drawing on my background as an artist and musician, I often incorporate creative, non-verbal interventions to help articulate and transform difficult emotions. I tailor my work to each client’s unique family history, cultural context, and personal values—empowering you to break free from unhelpful patterns and build genuine, lasting connections.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every individual carries unique gifts and the capacity for resilience—even amidst pain and trauma. As a queer, biracial person living with a chronic illness, I know firsthand how our identities and experiences shape our struggles and strengths. I am deeply committed to anti-oppressive, inclusive practices and strive to support BIPOC, LGBTQI+, and disabled communities. My passion for creative expression, rooted in my experiences as an artist and musician, informs my belief that art can open new pathways to healing when words aren’t enough. I continuously work to challenge my own biases, ensuring a truly collaborative, empathetic space where you can thrive.
