Our Ideal Client

Drawing on extensive training and experience, Natalya provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individualized treatment planning tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. She has a particular interest in addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders, with a focus on integrating evidence-based practices that promote resilience and positive mental health outcomes.

My Background and Approach

A California native, Natalya completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and her graduate studies at Gonzaga University. She started her career as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2014, serving inpatient adolescent and adult clients under guardianship or civil commitment at a Seattle area hospital. She was the attending provider for the adolescent inpatient unit and also treated adults contending with mood disorders, co-occurring disorders, and severe persistent mental illness. She went on to join the psychiatry team at Oregon State Hospital as an attending provider in 2017 to serve civilly committed and forensic GEI (adjudicated Guilty Except for Insanity) clients in this setting. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), Natalya brings a compassionate, patient-centered approach to mental health care. In addition to adult clients, Natalya provides specialized treatment for children and adolescents.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Natalya's philosophy centers on building strong, therapeutic relationships with clients and their families, emphasizing open communication, education, and collaboration in care. She believes in empowering adolescents to actively participate in their treatment process, fostering a sense of autonomy and self-awareness that supports their journey towards healing and growth. Whether navigating the challenges of adolescence or addressing more complex psychiatric conditions, Natalya is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care that supports each client's path to mental wellness. Natalya is a lifelong advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities and minority ethnic groups.
