My Ideal Client

Are you struggling to navigate conflict, repair relationships, or connect with yourself and your loved ones? I work with individuals, couples, and families who are seeking to improve communication, rebuild trust, better manage stress, and mood, and find inner peace. If you or your loved ones have been impacted by childhood trauma, domestic violence, addiction, divorce, or a mental health condition, and you find it impacts your relationships, I invite you to reach out for an initial consultation.

My Approach to Helping

My style is warm, collaborative, open, and compassion. I use body-based, client-centered, trauma-informed, attachment, and strength-based approaches that are evidenced based. We will focus on mindfulness, the mind-body connection, and healing wounded parts of self by resourcing the capable, strong adults parts that have helped you thus far. Therapy will be a time to slow down everyday interactions so you can better understand why they can be so triggering, and how they connect to beliefs about yourself, others, and the world. Many of these beliefs were adaptive ways that allowed you to feel safe when you were young, but may no longer serve you. Once you go to the roots of your beliefs, you can have more choice into how you want to live your life in a more full-filling and joyful way.

More About the People I Treat

I believe in the inner-wisdom we all have and our capacity for self healing. I see myself as a facilitator to help you with the process, why you are the expert on your life. Together, we go on a journey within, where you can begin to understand how you were shaped by your family, community, society, race, ethnicity, and system like government or religious institutions. Once you understand how these forces shaped your beliefs about the world, you can make choices that would serve you best in the present moment. I focus on working with clients who've experienced trauma, whether it'd be traumatic events like abuse or violence, or attachment trauma like when you have a parent who's working a lot or was preoccupied with addiction. I work with individual adults (18+) and couples. I also enjoy working with clients diagnosed with ADHD and autism. I have a lived experience of living with an autistic partner.
