My Ideal Client

I am passionate about reproductive mental health and enjoy supporting individuals across the reproductive lifespan. As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health provider (PMH-C), I have specialized training in pregnancy, postpartum, birth trauma, and loss. I also work with people navigating premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), life transitions, trauma, disability, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder.

My Approach to Helping

As a therapist, I am calm, collaborative, and patient. I listen closely with kindness, curiosity, and without judgment. Together, we’ll take our time to create a space rooted in trust and respect where you can express yourself fully. I balance warmth with thoughtful challenge, helping you recognize patterns that are keeping you stuck. I often slow down to notice what your body is communicating as we deepen our understanding of your emotions and experiences. Together, we’ll explore the stories that have shaped you while building practical skills for navigating everyday challenges. My goal is to create a space grounded in self-compassion, where healing feels both meaningful and manageable. My approach to therapy is tailored to each person’s needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Narrative Therapy, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and DBT. I often incorporate parts work, mindfulness, and harm reduction principles.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I identify as a white cisgender disabled woman. My lived experience with disability influences the way I show up as a therapist. I understand that disability can bring joy and grief, as well as profound shifts in identity, relationships, and the way we move through the world. I honor these experiences while recognizing that each person’s story is unique. I regularly reflect on cultural context, power dynamics, and my own biases. I’m committed to lifelong learning about the lived experiences of others and the oppressive systems we interact with. I believe there is deep healing in having your story heard, understood, and honored.
