My Ideal Client

Madison has numerous years of experience working with couples, individuals, families, and systems, all of whom bring their own unique lived experiences, including LGBTQIA+, first responders, trauma survivors, and those who experience emotional intensity. She aims to help individuals/families/couples/systems build skills and find their path to the life they are wanting to live. This means together, you will work to identify and utilize strategies to best handle whatever life throws your way.

My Approach to Helping

She believes the client/counselor relationship is rooted in transparency, respect, trust, and unconditional positive regard. She identifies as an eclectic clinician who leans into trauma informed, strength-based, and skill building interventions. Her work includes some processing therapy, however, largely focuses on having outcomes that support you living the beautiful life you want to live individually, as a couple, or within your family unit. She uses several modalities including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Gottman Therapy for couples, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Solution Focused, mindfulness-based, Eclectic, Humanistic, and motivational interviewing. Through these lenses, she always try's to do her best to meet people where they are at. She uses these modalties to cultivate a safe therapy space that invites collaboration, compassion, and connection.

More About the People I Treat

She is passionate about supporting the mental health of all people, especially couples, queer youth, adolescents and young adults. She is particularly attuned to the nuances of emotional experiences during the formative years, curating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and validated. This especially important for the couples she works with, as she attunes to trauma and biases couples bring to their relationship and impact connection. Through evidence-based interventions and a holistic perspective, she guides clients on a journey of self-discovery, helping them build resilience and navigate life's transitions with confidence.
