I enjoy working primarily with adolescents and young adults. I strive to be queer/LGBTQIA+ affirming, as I am part of the community as well :)
My Approach to Helping
I chose to pursue a career in counseling to hold a space for individuals to feel safe in their mind and body. My passions within the therapy world are working through trauma, anxiety, body image, and exploring gender expressions and sexual identities.
I integrate compassion-focused therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, and somatic/mindfulness practices. I believe that all parts of us are good and deserve to be heard, seen, and loved.
My Values as a Therapist
I believe that reconnecting and healing the relationship with oneself is the most beautiful aspect of therapy. In my experience, therapy is a mixture of cultivating inner love, deconstructing shame, and allowing all emotions to exist without judgment.
