My Ideal Client

I help support adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, poor body image, ADHD and developmental and relational trauma. I help them recognize unhelpful patterns in their life and support them in building acceptance, confidence and peace. My clients seek to increase flexibility around rigid thinking patterns and are curious how to improve their quality of life, honor emotions and nurture healthy relationships.

My Approach to Helping

I work to create a space that is welcoming, compassionate and affirming. I will approach you with a warm, non-judgmental stance and utilize the best therapeutic intervention that meets your needs. I am active in the process and provide modalities such as psychodynamic, narrative therapy and CBT. I have learned the value of practicing compassion while challenging clients to look internally and lead a life that nurtures well-being. Also, I feel a little humor goes a long way.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe mental health is a key component to healthcare. Though I have practiced therapy for over a decade, the client is the arbiter and authority of their well-being. I am happy to be a part of this journey with all clients. People don’t need to have a mental health disorder to seek therapy. Sometimes we just need someone to listen and offer extra support through life’s transitions and challenges.
