How I Can Help You

Many clients who gravitate towards my practice are lgbtq+, neurodivergent, helpers, witchy folks, nerds, and creatives. I work with folks on a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, shame, gender dysphoria, and relational distress. As a practitioner, I describe my style as compassionate, playful, and lovingly sassy. I work best with folks who are ready to come home to themselves and explore their inner world. My goal is to help you get free from the patterns that don’t serve you so that you can live your life fully, authentically, and freely. I utilize a relational, somatic form of therapy called Hakomi which blends neuroscience and mindfulness to help you shift core beliefs that no longer serve you. Through this, we are able to help unite your mind, body, and heart, so you can start living your life from your values and cultivate a stronger sense of who you are.

My Values as a Therapist

I approach all of my work through a social justice lens and believe deeply that when we transform on an interpersonal level, social change ripples outwards. Accessibility, embodied experience, and trauma-informed care are important pillars of my practice. Persons of all races & ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, and abilities are welcome. I am also affirming of kink, non-traditional relationship structures such as polyamory and non-monogamy, and sex work. Some of my identities hold varying levels of privilege which I always invite conversation around in session. Starting therapy can be hard. Let me do the honor of walking beside you on your journey. I trust that your wisdom will help us discover what the next best thing for you is. Reach out for a free consultation today!

Specialties

I utilize a variety of somatic and attachment based techniques with Hakomi, or mindfulness based experiential therapy, as my main modality. During a Hakomi session, you may have your eyes closed while we develop your ability to be mindfully aware of yourself. This helps us to listen to the wisdom of your body and reprocess underlying core beliefs on a neurological level.
