My Approach to Helping

**I am a psychiatric provider. I incorporate elements of psychotherapy into my sessions when appropriate, but I do not conduct therapy-only sessions.** Are you struggling with irritability, anxiety, low mood, poor focus, substance use, or lack of motivation that is impairing your relationships, your career, or your overall quality of life? Have you perhaps tried therapy, but found that your problems persisted? Have you tried medications, but found that psychiatric appointments were too impersonal or that your concerns about possible side effects or worsening symptoms were met with indifference?

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I incorporate elements of psychotherapy into my sessions when appropriate, but I do not conduct therapy-only sessions.** I believe primarily in a listening-oriented approach to care, as well as incorporating your preferences into our treatment plan as much as possible. I provide evidence-based mental health treatments, which may include medications, nutritional supplements, sleep pattern modifications, referral to talk therapists or treatment centers, and more.
