My Ideal Client

Are you a parent looking for support and techniques? Do you have a child that need some extra help either due to difficulties in school, a traumatic experience, or other? Are you a couple looking to strengthen your relationship and communication? Or are you just looking for someone who is ready to listen to your story without judgment and work with you to create a positive change? If so, I am here and ready to work with you and your family with an open mind and willingness to learn about you.

My Background and Approach

I have experience working with a wide variety of people from children in elementary school, college students, and individuals with disabilities. Through these experiences I have learned how to work with people through challenging experiences that can range from a hard day to traumatic memories or incidents. I have worked with children and their families in a school and after school setting around behavioral issues and neurodivergence. I have worked in a school setting and a group home setting with individuals who have developmental delays and difficulties including autism. I have also worked in Residential Life at multiple different colleges and had meetings with students around stress, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, drug abuse, suicidal ideation, and personal identity and goal setting. I am currently getting my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Children and Adolescents.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

I believe that everyone deserves to be heard. My experiences have taught me how to provide a listening ear and how to find different tools so that you can create positive change in your life and relationships. Life can be a struggle sometimes and working through your emotions and experiences can be a lot to handle. I can be there to work with you through this experience and provide a safe space where you can be yourself to have room to grow and heal. My goal is to be able to provide a safe and welcoming space where you can share your experiences and we can work together to achieve your goals. I know that life can be overwhelming and challenging so I want to be able to provide you with support and tools to be able to bring about positive change in your lives and relationships. I want you to be able to feel you are ready to step forward with confidence and joy.
