My Ideal Client

I specialize in supporting adult survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual abuse or assault, or climate-event trauma, and people who are experiencing acute stress, complex trauma, posttraumatic stress, panic, dissociation, disconnection, loss, grief, anxiety, depression, existential crisis, death-anxiety, eco-grief, eco-anxiety, or eco-trauma.

My Approach to Helping

My approach is relational, collaborative, liberatory, compassionate, trauma-informed, and grounded in a social justice orientation. I view people as shaped by a multitude of factors including: ancestry, biology, family, lived experience, and social, cultural and ecological contexts. I hold an awareness of how dynamics of power and intersectional identities may impact a person's health and well-being, as well as how they show up within the therapeutic relationship. I strive to embody a respectful curiosity and cultural humility, providing space for participants to define and explore their identities, lived experiences, sources of suffering, and desires for growth and change. I believe everyone possesses an innate capacity for healing, and that this innate part thrives within the context of meaningful relationship. I lean on the therapeutic relationship as a vital resource for healing, challenge, unconditional support, and growth.
