My Ideal Client

Book a consultation call on my website. Do you feel stressed and overwhelmed? Maybe you struggle with insomnia? Or experience anxious, intrusive, or negative thoughts? Your experience is very real and life does not have to continue this way. I enjoy working with women at various stages of life. I have special interests in women's mental health, pregnancy, postpartum mood and anxiety issues, disordered eating/body image concerns, parenting, trauma, and 1st/2nd generation immigrant families.

My Background and Approach

My style is relational and connection-focused. I view you as a whole person, not a list of symptoms or diagnoses. The initial appointment involves obtaining a comprehensive medical and psychiatric history and, subsequently, creating a treatment plan for you. Your treatment plan may include medications, supplements, nutrition and movement recommendations, stress management, sleep optimization, and mind-body skills, in order to optimize your mental health. I collaborate with you when making decisions regarding treatment. In my work, I use my skills as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my background in clinical psychology, and my continuing education in integrative psychiatry and reproductive psychiatry to support you on your journey to healing. I have additional training in treating pregnant and postpartum patients.

My Values as a Therapist

I believe in the healing power of connection and community. At times, our society focuses so much on individualism, which can leave us thinking we have to fend for ourselves. My belief in the power of connection impacts my approach to care, as I work with my patients to foster meaningful connections and community. I also encourage my patients to be authentic and vulnerable and to allow themselves to be seen.
