My Ideal Client

In my work I highly enjoy working with BIPOC/LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent adults navigating trauma including cultural and intergenerational trauma. I especially love collaborating with people going through life changes or those trying to untangle their life experiences and make sense of it all. I approach therapy through a liberatory and trauma-informed lens, recognizing that many of our struggles are shaped not only by our own direct experiences but also by systemic factors.

My Background and Approach

I believe therapy should be tailored to you! I draw from EFT, ACT, and somatic approaches while remaining flexible to what feels most supportive and meaningful for your goals. As a South Asian woman, I also bring lived experience and a culturally responsive lens to our work, honoring the ways culture, identity, family, and community shape our experiences.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a South Asian therapist of Punjabi descent, I bring a deep sense of empathy and cultural awareness to my work with BIPOC and other marginalized clients. A key part of my approach is recognizing and challenging the systemic forces that impact people of color, queer and trans individuals, and those at the intersections of multiple identities. That being said, I encourage you to show up as you are, and we'll work through those difficult bits and pieces together.
