My Ideal Client

I work at Aspire Psychology with adult clients through individual therapy to address stress management associated with relationships, careers, and serious illness. Being at a crossroads often invites us to go deeper within ourselves to discover our values and inner voice.

My Approach to Helping

Additionally, I specialize in addressing end-of-life concerns, including caregiver stress, family communication, and grief. Facing death brings various challenges, but it can also lead to a powerful experience of appreciation and meaning. Whether it’s about one’s own mortality or a loved one’s, I assist my clients to feel educated and prepared to deal with the transition.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Oregon always had a special place in my heart, ever since I spent a magical year at the University of Oregon as a Japanese exchange student. After 12 years of moving around the U.S., I finally found my way back and have been living in Portland since 2017. I enjoy traveling, a good cup of coffee on a foggy morning, and am passionate about cooking with plenty of garlic!
