My Ideal Client

I am particularly well-suited to work with professional women over 40 who are navigating: Midlife transitions and identity shifts Divorce, relationship changes, or emotional disconnection Anxiety, depression, and chronic overwhelm Grief and loss (including ambiguous or “invisible” losses) Burnout, career dissatisfaction, and role strain Communication challenges in relationships Parenting transitions and changing family dynamics Reconnecting with confidence, purpose, and inner clarity

My Approach to Helping

Therapy with me is both reflective and practical—supporting emotional insight while also building skills you can use in daily life. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal and Relational approaches, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, coaching, and strengths-based frameworks. Together, we identify patterns that no longer serve you and clarify what matters most moving forward. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process distressing or unresolved experiences so they no longer feel as emotionally charged in the present. EMDR can be especially helpful for trauma, grief, and long-standing emotional blocks. My goal is to help you feel lighter, clearer, and more aligned with who you are becoming.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe meaningful change happens in where people feel safe, understood, and not judged. My work is shaped by both clinical training and decades of experience in leadership, business, community service, and crisis response. I’ve spent much of my life walking alongside people during times of transition, stress, and uncertainty—when things feel heavy or hard to navigate alone. I’m drawn to roles that require steadiness, compassion, and clear thinking under pressure. My volunteer work in disaster response and trauma intervention reflects my belief that calm, grounded support matters most when life feels overwhelming. My background in leadership and business ownership helps me understand the realities many professional women face, including burnout, responsibility for others, and the pressure to hold everything together. My style is relaxed, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I value honesty, curiosity, and warmth, and believe people are resilient and worthy of practical, human support.
