My Ideal Client

I work well with clients struggle with identify their own emotions and needs, are coping with issues related to neurodivergence, are curious about their relationship with substance, or are seeking support with recovery maintenance outside of a 12-step model. Improving relationships, communication skills, and exploring identity are other areas wherein I enjoy supporting clients. I am a harm reduction oriented counselor and use a collaborative and holistic approach to treatment.

How I Can Help You

Deepening our capacity for self-compassion decreases the internalized shame we come into contact within our selves and others. My approach is to lead with curiosity to distill habitual judgment; by expanding your own self-understanding, you are creating internal space to process old hurts and heal.

My Values as a Therapist

Autonomy, collaboration, and humor are my guiding lights as a therapist. This is your therapy and it can look however you need it to. I love collaborating with clients to determine what they want more or less of in their life and tailoring therapeutic goals to reflect unique needs. Humor reminds us that we are two people in a room *or a zoom* learning together and that therapy is not just a sad and scary space to process pain - it is also a tool that can help you find more joy, love, and connection in your life and relationships.
