My Ideal Client

As a person of color and member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I bring a unique perspective to my practice, specializing in psychiatric med management and supportive therapy for these communities. While I have extensive experience working with these populations, my practice is inclusive and welcomes individuals from all backgrounds

My Approach to Helping

I offer psychiatric medication management, psychotherapy and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations using a HIPAA secure virtual platform to patients in Oregon. My psychotherapeutic style is eclectic, drawing from a range of effective modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing, alongside principles of Nonviolent Communication. I believe deeply in the power of holistic approaches to support mental well-being. Exercise, nourishing food, and connection with community are essential components of healing. If you are seeking ongoing psychiatric care, we will meet for 1-3 initial consultation visits to assess if we are a good fit for one another. If we mutually decide to move forward with ongoing care, we will collaborate to find an appointment schedule that meets your needs.

Social Justice Issues We Care About

I am dedicated to providing compassionate, inclusive, and trauma-informed care. My practice is rooted in principles of anti-racism and actively challenges systems of oppression, including anti-LGBTQIA+ discrimination and all other forms of marginalization. I believe that mental health care should empower individuals by validating their lived experiences and understanding how these intersect with larger systemic issues. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where people from all backgrounds can feel seen and heard.
