My Ideal Client

I tend to be a good fit for those who: • Are feeling overwhelmed or dehumanized by modern life • Were raised in growth-limiting environments (judgmental family/religious systems, abusive/controlling parenting styles) • Were parentified as children • Are struggling with shame or anxiety • Have unresolved trauma • Are feeling confusion about what they want from their lives • Have more than one cultural identity • Are looking to feel more whole and live a more authentic existence

My Approach to Helping

My goal as a therapist is to support your individual freedom - to help you become more fully yourself. I see you as an individual with your own unique experience and story, and your own path towards growth and healing. As a result, I do not have a "cookie cutter" approach to therapy. Instead, I blend several different approaches in my work to meet you where you are at and support you in your process. I am a trauma-informed therapist, and I implement a blend of EMDR, somatic work, mindfulness, and internal family systems/parts work to help clients process their trauma and unwind distressing patterns.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have a Jungian lens, and my therapeutic perspective is deeply informed by feminism, social justice, and liberation psychology. My understanding of quarterlife is heavily influenced by the work of Satya Doyle Byock (who views quarterlife as a developmental stage of adulthood). My therapeutic approach is whole-hearted, fully engaged, and collaborative. My intention is to honor your path, and create a safe space in which you can be more fully yourself.
