My Approach to Helping

Many clients have described my clinical style as "real and authentic." I have extensive training and clinical experience in a number of different therapeutic modalities such as Time Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy, DBT/CBT/ACT, Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to name a few. Based on your needs and preferences, I offer short-term (accelerated) therapy , as well as longer-term "depth therapy."

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I enjoy working with clients on a wide variety of issues including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, ADHD, perfectionism, self-esteem, family-of-origin, cultural identity, codependency, stress, etc. As an addiction specialist, I provide assessment and treatment for those struggling with alcohol and/or drugs, as well as those struggling with "process addictions" (eg: internet, gaming, gambling, etc.) I have specialized in the provision of gender affirming care for transgender and gender diverse individuals for over 10 years and am very passionate about this work. I provide consultation and supportive therapy for adolescents and adults who are in the early stages of exploring/questioning their gender identity, as well as assessment and letter-writing for clients pursuing hormones and/or surgery.
