My Ideal Client

I support individuals navigating anxiety, shame, perfectionism, ADHD, identity exploration and relationship challenges. I also have specialized training in working with individuals navigating social anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Additionally, I offer couples therapy to address differing communication styles and attachment needs to find more secure ways of relating.

My Approach to Helping

My style is warm, grounded, collaborative, and direct. I appreciate candor and welcome feedback. As a queer therapist, I value creating an affirming space where clients can explore their identities, relationships, and lived experiences openly and authentically. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and somatic and mindfulness practices. I view each client as unique and tailor my approach to your individual needs.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy is not just about gaining insight, it’s about creating the conditions where change becomes possible. Through cultivating a safe and secure base, we can begin to look at our past, how our patterns show up presently, and how our nervous system plays a key role in our healing. In our work together, we’ll explore the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself, understand why those responses developed, and create more choice, freedom and ease in how you relate to yourself and others. Some of my areas of interest include cultivating self-trust, living more authentically, healing from family addiction and working with LGBTQI+ individuals and couples.
