Our Approach to Helping

We are committed to offering a non-judgmental space for you to bring any unanswered questions about your mental health. Time limited individual therapy is offered with doctoral practicum student or a licensed clinical psychologist. We are unable to offer trauma focused treatment at this time, though our practice is trauma informed . We also have a number of time limited, or brief interventions available (think 4 to 20 visits) including but not limited to skills training for ADHD, self-regulation and the neurodivergent nervous system, assertive communication/conflict resolution, and emotional labeling

    Dr. Winter has experience in assessing ADHD in teens and adults. She is skilled at diagnostic clarification including co-morbid ADHD and ASD, PTSD, OCD and Bipolar Disorder. She has experience with skills training specialized for adults with ADHD. She is skilled at identifying ADHD in women, intellectually gifted folks, and those for whom this diagnosis is often missed. She understands the stigma around this diagnosis - even among medical and mental health providers
