My Ideal Client

People come to this work when something in them refuses to stay contained. Outwardly that may wear many faces: grief, longing, depression, anxiety, addiction. But beneath it is often the sense of a deeper life pressing for expression. My clients are seekers, skeptics, creatives, and the quietly overwhelmed, drawn to the thresholds of inner work and a space that welcomes complexity and emergence.

My Approach to Helping

I work at the convergence of psyche, body, and lived experience. Rather than trying to “fix” symptoms, we follow the energy of what wants to move through sensation, image, story, and the subtle tensions that shape how you inhabit your life. My approach weaves depth psychology (Jungian and post-Jungian), somatic practice (Core Energetics), and relational exploration informed by Archetypal Pattern Analysis and the new sciences. In our work, we trace the expressions of the inner world as they appear in dreams, images, and the body. These become portals rather than problems, showing where life is trying to unfold. The aim is not self-optimization; it is cultivating a relationship with the aliveness that rises from your own depths and learning to live from that center with greater presence, strength, and coherence.

My Values as a Therapist

I value depth over quick solutions and the kind of presence that allows what is hidden to emerge in its own way. I hold the therapeutic space as a living field where psyche can reveal itself through image, emotion, and the body. I do not rush, pathologize complexity, or force insight; I stay with what arises and meet it with curiosity, clarity, and respect. I believe in the dignity of the inner world and in the transformative power of encountering yourself without pretense. My work is guided by an ethic of attunement, imagination, and truthfulness to experience, trusting that change comes from engaging the deeper movements of your life, not from overriding them.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Depth Therapy External link

A Jungian / depth orientation explores the underlying forces shaping your struggles, not just the surface symptoms. We work with dreams, images, somatic patterns, and relational dynamics to understand what is moving in the psyche and what it is asking of you. This approach allows for genuine transformation by engaging the deeper meanings and movements of your inner life.

  • Somatic Therapy (Body Centered) External link

My somatic work is rooted in Core Energetics, a modality that understands the body as a direct expression of your emotional and energetic life. Together we track tension, movement, breath, and sensation to uncover where energy is blocked or overactivated. By engaging the body alongside psychological insight, this approach supports deeper regulation, expression, and authentic change.

  • Transpersonal External link

My transpersonal work explores what moves in us beyond the ego’s narrow story. Drawing from Jungian and post-Jungian thought and the energetic understanding of Core Energetics, we engage dreams, images, and embodied experience to sense the larger currents shaping your life. This orientation helps you live from a deeper center rather than from old defenses or roles.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Depression External link

I view depression not only as a set of symptoms, but as a signal that something in the psyche has withdrawn, gone underground, or become blocked in its movement. Rather than pushing for quick relief or cognitive reframing alone, we explore the deeper currents beneath the heaviness: what has collapsed, what has been overwhelmed, or what is asking for attention through this slowing down. In our work, the body, imagery, and emotional landscape all become guides.

  • Anxiety External link

I see anxiety as a sign that too much energy is moving too fast or without direction. Instead of managing it away, we slow the field enough to understand what is driving the urgency, whether fear, overwhelm, unmet needs, or a part of you trying to protect something vulnerable. By working with the body, imagery, and underlying patterns, anxiety becomes a doorway to greater steadiness and inner coherence.

  • Cultural and Systemic Oppression External link

I view oppression as something that acts on the psyche, shaping how we restrict our expression in order to survive within collective expectations. Together we examine how culture, family, and inherited narratives compress your inner life and limit who you are allowed to be. By reclaiming disowned expression and embodied truth, we can create space for a more authentic way of living.

  • Relationship / Marriage Issues External link

Relationship struggles highlight places where old patterns, protections, and unconscious expectations are asking to be seen. Exploration of these dynamics often reveals how you connect, defend, or pull away. By working at this depth, relationships become sites of choice and more authentic contact rather than repetition of the past.
