My Ideal Client

Where there is hope, curiosity, and empathy, there is a way. Whether you’re feeling stuck in anxiety, overwhelmed by life changes, or caught in patterns that no longer serve you, therapy offers a place to slow down, reflect, and make sense of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I provide collaborative, evidence-based support to help you feel steadier, more flexible, and more connected to what matters most.

My Approach to Helping

I enjoy helping teens and adults move through life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. Our work is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in empathy, creating a space where you can speak openly and feel truly heard. Together, we address concerns such as anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, phobias, relationship stress, and life transitions. Drawing from 10 years teaching graduate-level psychology and extensive private practice experience using CBT and ERP, I offer thoughtful, individualized, evidence-based therapy focused on understanding patterns, practicing new ways of responding, and cultivating self-compassion, resilience, balance, and ease in everyday life.

My Values as a Therapist

I believe well-being isn’t a fixed destination, but an ongoing and deeply personal process. Meaningful therapy begins with trust, respect, and a genuine understanding of who you are as a whole person — your experiences, strengths, challenges, values, and goals. Guided by empathy and curiosity, I see therapy as a partnership that supports growth and lasting change in ways that feel realistic, sustainable, and aligned with your values. Together, we work toward meaningful, lasting change so you can move through life with greater clarity, confidence, and ease.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) External link

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), is a well-established approach for treating anxiety, OCD, and phobias. In our work, CBT helps you better understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact, and how small, intentional changes can reduce anxiety’s hold. The focus is on building awareness, flexibility, and more supportive ways of responding.

  • Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy External link

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a well-supported, effective approach for treating OCD and anxiety-related concerns. ERP is a behavioral therapy we work on together, at a pace that feels thoughtful and manageable. I place a strong emphasis on helping clients understand how and why ERP works, so the process feels collaborative, transparent, and empowering rather than overwhelming.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Anxiety External link

I support clients who want help managing anxiety that may show up alongside depression, ADHD, OCD, phobias, relationship challenges, or life transitions. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we work to better understand anxiety patterns and build practical, supportive ways of responding. My approach is also informed by experience supporting individuals through the emotional impact of sudden change and disruption.

  • OCD External link

I provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)–based exposure therapy to support clients diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Together, we work to better understand intrusive thoughts, urges, and the behaviors used to cope with them. Our work is collaborative, paced with care, and focused on helping you build flexibility, confidence, and a greater sense of freedom in daily life.

  • ADHD External link

I work with clients who have ADHD and executive functioning challenges using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)–based strategies and the stages of change model. Many clients feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or hard on themselves. Our work focuses on understanding these patterns, building practical supports, and making changes that feel manageable and sustainable. When helpful, I also collaborate with schools or workplaces to better support my clients’ needs.

  • Depression External link

Depression can be exhausting and can leave people feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves and their lives. I work alongside clients to help process the emotions and experiences connected to depression, while gently exploring patterns in thoughts and behaviors that can keep it in place. Together, we focus on creating small, meaningful shifts that support movement, self-compassion, and a renewed sense of engagement over time.
