My Approach to Helping

As a woman of color, I have experienced the stressors related to living and navigating the complexity of family expectations, culture, and dominant society. I understand the impact of marginalization and systematic oppression. Most importantly, I understand the benefits of finding a non-judgemental space where you can truly honor who you really are while being seen and heard. I offer a space to sort through demands and stressors of everyday life, relationships, and cultural identity/BIPOC-specific challenges. As a therapist I can offer this space to you. Issues I can help with are life transitions, stress, anxiety, self-esteem, cultural identity, personal growth, relationship issues, and depression. I provide individual therapy to adults through virtual counseling sessions. Unfortunately, I do not have in-person options at this time. My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe we are all shaped by diverse experiences that influence who we are, how we operate in the world, and the lens through which we view life. Each experience holds such profound meaning and value, guiding us as we navigate the world around us. When we take the time to hold space for our experiences, we create opportunities to explore, understand, and nurture them. This process allows for healing, self-discovery, and transformation. As your therapist, my goal is to honor all aspects of your lived experiences. I practice from a social justice, multicultural, trauma informed, and anti-oppressive framework, ensuring that our work together is inclusive, affirming, and compassionate. I strive to create a space where all parts of you are seen, heard, and valued.
