My Ideal Client

I work with adults who are experiencing symptoms of trauma, depression, anxiety, are overwhelmed with emotions, or are noticing the consequences of unmet childhood needs. I also work with folks who are going through life transitions, exploring identity and spiritual experiences, or feel dissociated from their bodies. My clients are interested in understanding behavior patterns, increasing self-compassion and agency, and releasing trauma and repressed emotions from their bodies.

What I Specialize In

My approach is compassionate and body-centered; I use integrative somatic parts work, IFS, emotion focused therapy, and compassion-focused awareness practices to deepen insight, increase self-empowerment, connect to your inner wisdom, and release limiting beliefs and trauma from the body. Somatic parts work is effective for reducing shame, increasing awareness and understanding of aspects of ourselves, releasing emotional pain, and developing a loving relationships with ourselves. If you are noticing nervous system distress, trauma resurgence, interpersonal difficulties, the need to integrate spiritual experiences, noticing internal conflict, questioning your identity, or want to understand your behavior patterns better, I hold a compassionate space to explore and express what is needed for insight to arise. Without awareness, unconscious patterns continue to play out. New neural pathways and choices can be developed at any age.

My Approach to Helping

We all have the innate capacity to heal ourselves, though sometimes we need support, and new tools along the way. Being human can be challenging, and I provide a safe space to navigate through what needs to be acknowledged and felt. Everyone has their own inner wisdom that guides them through life, however, this wisdom can be covered up by repressed emotions, protective behavior patterns, and unprocessed trauma. I believe that a safe therapeutic relationship is the foundation of therapy that allows for vulnerability and trust to emerge. Voicing the truth of how we feel from a somatic experience is a powerful experience.
