My Ideal Client

I've spent the last 15+ years, teaching and supporting people in understanding and healing recent and long term traumas. Trauma resolution can seem intimidating and scary, or like it requires you to dig into a painful past. But at its core, the work we might do together is about returning your access to play, rest and more intimate connection to life! Consent and safety in mind, body and spirit are key as we sit together.

My Approach to Helping

I use a body based approach to trauma healing and nervous system regulation. I'm an EMDRIA certified therapist and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. I weave culture rich traditions and modern approaches to trauma together to impact what's meaningful to you. My style is dynamic, collaborative, and validating. This is not the therapy of coping your way through a crumbling world. In the space we share, I'll be with you every step of the way as we learn the language of your most difficult patterns and work to slowly rewire where those patterns keep you stuck. Online courses and yoga classes can bring helpful change, but our time together is an experience of being truly seen, felt, understood and guided with care to gently dismantle your triggers and grow your capacity to be a different you. I offer compassionate, non-judgemental co-resonance. Building our relationship on a basis of shared respect and consent is a huge part of my practice.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am compassionate, direct, affirming, and always willing to be playful. I bring acknowledgment of the ways systems of oppression impact lived experience and a practice that is grounded in culture-centered, liberation frameworks.
