I work with adult individuals, couples, and broader relationship work. This may mean folks who are struggling with adjustment, managing emotions, or who are concerned for children in their care. I particularly enjoy working with parents/caregivers in unconventional families including queer, trans and polyamorous.
I understand that finding the right support for unconventional relationships can be challenging. Sometimes the central work is around ethical non-monogamy and sometimes its nice to focus on unrelated challenges with some who "gets it".
Raising children is the most intense and rewarding experience I have had. No one can do it in a bubble. We all need support sometimes. I find it quite rewarding to offer support for others doing caretaking. It not only supports the adults I'm working with but their children as well.
I work with adults to support the well being of their children. In my professional opinion children benefit most of from smaller and more frequent doses of support. I delight in supporting caregivers to offer this to their children.
Throughout our lifetimes everyone of us experiences anxiety. Whether this is a new concern for you or something you have been managing for a longer time I am confident that we can work together and lessen theintensity.
