My Ideal Client

I love working with queer and trans teens (13-18) and emergent adults (18-25) who are seeking accompaniment in their self-exploration and desire to be active participants in the therapy process. I have experience supporting people through a wide range of challenges and needs, including anxiety, social anxiety, and panic, isolation, relationship dynamics, depression, grief and loss, chronic illness, gender and sexual identity, gender transition, neurodivergence, autism, and ADHD

My Approach to Helping

I work from a relationally centered, liberatory approach, drawing on narrative, parts-work, and somatic orientations. I love partnering with clients to find practical and creative ways to meet the challenges you're facing—and to make more space for whatever it is that brings you alive. I believe we feel better when we feel seen and understood, when we have the resources we need, and when we connect with our power to create the changes we want. I offer a free 20–30 minute consultation to answer any questions you have and explore what working together might look like. Take a look at my website to see if what I offer could line up with your needs. If you're not sure, I'm always happy to talk it through together, and can provide other resources.

My Values as a Therapist

I work towards a liberatory approach to healing. This means that I believe the things which cause us distress often start not within ourselves, but with how the social and political world operates around us. The way forward is just as much about drawing on our shared resourcefulness and power, to cope with and transform our environments, as it is about finding new ways to exist within ourselves and our relationships. As queers and trans', we come from vibrant lineages of resistance, mutual-aid, and collective power. I ground my work in these lineages and in the belief that it's our shared responsibility to carry forward these life-giving currents, making and remaking the world into one in which we desire to live.
