My Ideal Client

I specialize in helping individuals heal from trauma, overcome shame, and navigate the anxiety and stress that often accompany life's challenges. Using a trauma-informed lens, I help clients process difficult experiences, understand recurring patterns, and build self-compassion. Together, we work to strengthen resilience, deepen self-acceptance, build confidence, and foster a greater sense of purpose and connection.

My Approach to Helping

Using EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I help clients address current struggles while exploring underlying patterns rooted in earlier life experiences. My trauma-informed approach emphasizes compassion, curiosity, and lasting growth at a pace that feels right for each individual. I believe that our bodies also hold important clues to our emotional and mental states, and by tuning into them, we can deepen our understanding of ourselves and heal in a more integrated way. I am committed to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing, while providing a safe, supportive, and empathetic space.

Why I Became a Therapist

I became a therapist because I saw individuals, across many different contexts, struggling without needed support. I noticed how people were responding from wounded places, sometimes causing harm to themselves and those around them. That moved me. I believe that spaces like places of worship, which are meant to offer refuge, often lack the mental health support needed for true healing and connection. My hope is to bridge that gap, helping individuals find the peace, self-awareness, and acceptance we all deserve. To me, therapy is about more than just coping. It’s about growing into a more compassionate and integrated version of ourselves, for our own sake and for the sake of the communities we’re part of.
