My Ideal Client

You might be carrying an unspoken weight—an exhaustion or disconnection that makes it hard to show up in your life or relationships. Many of my clients feel caught in repeating cycles, struggling with emotional shutdown or a sense that something is missing. You don't have to carry it alone. Therapy with me is a grounded, collaborative space to explore old defenses and build deeper connection. If you're ready to do the real work, I invite you to reach out

My Approach to Helping

I'm not here to offer quick behavioral fixes or polite validation; I'm here to help you make sense of your story and actually feel at home in it. If you've spent a long time performing okayness or carrying an unspoken weight behind closed doors, this can be the space where you don't have to. Our work is collaborative and fluid. We look closely at patterns: how your history and early adaptations shape your present, how your nervous system learned to protect you, and what might be blocking intimacy or fulfillment. I focus on relationship distress, attachment wounds, and existential angst—with a strong interest in helping men navigate societal conditioning, move past anger or shutdown, and reclaim their full emotional self. We go at your pace. Having worked in court-ordered inpatient care and crisis support, I know how to hold a steady, grounded space when things are heavy or intense. People aren't broken—they are working with survival strategies that made sense once and need updating.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My clinical perspective is shaped by my experience of holding space in high-intensity environments—including court-ordered inpatient care, crisis intervention, and volunteering with the Fireside Project, where I supported individuals through active non-ordinary states and post-journey integration. That work taught me how to sit with intense existential terrain, altered realities, and profound vulnerability without rushing to pathologize, manage, or fix. I bring that same steadiness to my practice today. Whether we are untangling attachment wounds, addressing relationship distress, or examining the rigid societal scripts that trap men in emotional shutdown, our work together is grounded and rigorous. I don't view people as broken problems to solve; I view them as complex beings working with survival strategies that once made complete sense and now need space to evolve.
