My Ideal Client

Do you feel as if you are struggling with yourself within the Addiction or mental health issues? I believe counseling is a journey. Although, be it hard is worth the work. I work with couples, teens and adults who have issues ADHD, teen issues, suicidal ideation, addictions, Couples, Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, PMDD, menopause, LGBTQ ALLIED

My Background

I have extensive work with a variety of settings from Head Start, Lockdown schools, jail and prison system. I have worked with school age populations from K-12, SPMI, Dual dx, couples and addictions, incarcerated individuals and those that have struggled to integrate back into society. I believe there can be change and leave the past in the past. I believe a holistic approach benefits both clients and clinicians. It does take time to get to know each other, then the work begins. I provide a safe space to be your authentic self. I use a combination of CBT, DBT, and solution focused. I am certified in prepare and enrich marriage and premarital counseling.

I believe that change is within us and can have a positive impact in our lives when we engage in help, whether it is from ourselves, others or books. We just need to take a breath and start working on ourself and know we are worth it and can accomplish anything. Change takes time to implement. None of us are perfect and all we can do is our best. I hold space for everyone in a non judgemental way.

My background includes work in outpatient, school-based, community, and correctional settings, supporting individuals impacted by complex and developmental trauma as well as those living with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI).
