My Ideal Client

I work with couples, teens, and adults who are ready to take that next step toward change. My clients often face challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal thoughts, addictions, PMDD, and menopause. I also specialize in relationship and communication issues and am proud to be LGBTQ+ allied, providing a safe and inclusive space for everyone. Together, we’ll work toward understanding your struggles, building resilience, and creating the life you want to live.

My Background

I bring extensive experience across a variety of settings—including Head Start programs, lockdown schools, and the jail and prison systems. I’ve worked with school-age children (K–12), individuals with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI), dual diagnoses, couples, and those recovering from addiction or reintegrating into society after incarceration. I believe that change is always possible and that the past does not have to define the future. My approach is holistic, honoring both the client’s and clinician’s growth throughout the process. Building trust takes time, and once we truly know each other, that’s when the meaningful work begins. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be your authentic self. In our sessions, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused techniques. I am a Certified Trauma Professional II, Certified in DBT, and Certified in Prepare and Enrich for marriage and premarital counseling

More About the People I Treat

I believe that change lives within each of us—and that with support, reflection, and compassion, we can create meaningful shifts in our lives. My passion for counseling comes in part from personal experience. Having witnessed the impact of suicide attempts within my own family, I understand how painful, confusing, and isolating those moments can feel. That experience shaped my belief that no one should have to face their struggles alone. I hold space for everyone in a nonjudgmental, compassionate way, knowing that healing takes time and courage. None of us are perfect, and each small step forward matters. I believe we are all capable of growth, healing, and rediscovering our sense of worth and hope.
