My Approach to Helping
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Oregon and Minnesota. I specialize in working with highly sensitive, insightful people who feel stuck in anxiety, trauma, or painful relationship patterns. Using mindfulness, somatic therapy, inner child work, and CBT, I offer a warm, grounded space to explore, heal, and grow. With decades of experience supporting clients, and over 10 years as a licensed mental health therapist, I bring deep presence and perspective to this work. My approach is holistic and person-centered, integrating evidence-based tools with body-based and intuitive modalities such as yoga, energy healing, and mindfulness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a 48-year-old therapist with a nontraditional background as an artist and musician who traveled and performed in my teens and twenties. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Mental Health Counseling in my 30s, then built a thriving private practice. Personally, I value friendship, community, love, nature, social justice, feminism, and fun, and have always felt spiritually connected to nature. As a neurodivergent woman who has experienced anxiety, CPTSD, and chronic illness, I understand the importance of balance, self-care, and healing. My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I’m here to connect deeply with clients and support their journey toward growth, insight, and wellbeing through mindful, grounded practices.
