My Approach to Helping

I take a wholistic, systemic approach to therapy. I am client centered and collaborative in my approach. I don't believe in taking a 'cookie-cutter' approach to therapy, each person I meet with will have treatment tailored to their specific needs. I am not a professional who will tell you what to do. I will work collaboratively with you to meet the goals that you have for your life and relationships. I am a AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. I have also completed the Emotion Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT) Externship and Core Skills.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have over ten years in the field helping people who want to build intimacy, compassion and trust in their relationships. Many people find that when their sexual connection is diminished, it affects the other areas of their relationship. They may find themselves spiraling into conflict more easily or experiencing long periods of time passing without meaningful intimacy and connection. I work with those who desire change or healing when their relationship is creating pain or falling apart. I work to help people have better communication and to break down the barriers to the cycles that perpetuate disconnection. This approach is important to me because I believe that by helping people to improve their relationships, I am helping to move their lives. I am an active member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am kinky, polyamorous and happy to discuss these identities of mine further.
