My Background and Approach

Hello, I imagine you are here because something isn't quite right in your life and you are seeking guidance to make positive changes. As you explore what therapy has to offer you, more clarity emerges about life choices. You will have a chance to examine the issues you face, learn new tools and skills to deepen your mind-body connection.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My approach to therapy is holistic and relationship oriented. I have worked in marriage and family therapy since 2012. I've received many hours of training, supervision and consultation in Berkeley and San Francisco, offering cutting edge techniques and proven methods. In the first session, expect things to start changing. What I love about my job is to support people to come to new insights that change their lives for the better.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Depth Therapy External link

Do you want a therapy experience that deepens your awareness of your inner life, dreams, and your relationship with your authentic self? Working with imagination, mindfulness, and embodiment is central to healing utilizing a wholistic approach to health and wholeness. In depth psychotherapy, you can explore insights and intuitions, discover that difficult experiences can be full of meaning, and learn new ways of approaching your life.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Cultural and Systemic Oppression External link

My practice is full of people from diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. I work with interracial couples, lgbtqiq individuals/couples, and a multiplicity of relationship structures. I have a background in cultural anthropology, with an emphasis on social transformation. It is important to me to create a safe place to explore complex issues, and I do this by exploring and learning about my own biases, culture, and social conditioning.
