My Ideal Client

I work with a wide variety of clients. I specialize in working with adults whom struggle with trauma which can lead to CPTSD symptoms. Seeking a therapist shows you're committed to improving yourself. The client-therapist relationship is key to the process. I've seen the most progress in clients who are motivated to change and learn about themselves. I truly believe that the strong connection between therapist and client makes it possible for real, long-term changes to happen.

My Approach to Helping

I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs and achieve your desired outcome. My approach is to work with ideas from a psycho-dynamic approach, IFS which focuses on healing trauma, that can create C-PTSD symptoms. I genuinely believe that it is the quality of the relationship between therapist and the client that allows for real, lasting changes to occur. My role as the therapist, is to walk alongside, and create a safe empathetic environment to explore feelings, emotions and thought patterns, while pushing you to become the best version of yourself you can be.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I received my masters in counseling in 2016 from Antioch University, Seattle. Since then I have worked with a wide variety of individuals including Severe and persistent mental illness, depression/anxiety and life transitions. I am passionate about how trauma can impact our mental health and overall life. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and feel passionate about helping others that feel 'different.'
