My Ideal Client

Drawing from personal and professional experience, I support queer individuals and trauma survivors in exploring their sexual and gender identities and processing trauma. With a background in sexual violence prevention and clinical work, I understand the unique ways sexual trauma impacts queer individuals and communities.

My Approach to Helping

I am dedicated to creating a supportive, safe, and non-judgmental space for you to explore the root of the problems that are holding you back in life. I use a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and identity affirming approach to support my clients in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and working towards individually meaningful goals. I believe that we all need and deserve to feel understood and valued while delving into life’s challenges and learning new strategies to effectively respond to emotional pain and stressors. Together we will work to foster greater self-confidence, awareness, and efficacy, so you can move toward the life that you want. I look forward to supporting you on this journey towards healing and fulfillment.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I come to this work as both a therapist and a queer person with a deep commitment to healing, justice, and collective care. My background includes supporting survivors of sexual trauma, and I hold a strong belief in the power of safe, affirming relationships to help us process pain and reclaim connection to ourselves. I view therapy through the intersectional feminist lens of racial, reproductive, and economic justice. I strive to acknowledge the ways systems of oppression shape our experiences of trauma, identity, and belonging. I believe healing isn’t just personal—it’s also political, relational, and often nonlinear. Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my cat & dog (whose personalities and quirks I could write a dissertation on), practicing yoga, and exploring Portland’s neighborhoods, trails, and cozy corners. I’m drawn to connecting with people through conversations that lead to deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the world.
