My Ideal Client

You’re someone who feels deeply and thinks a lot about why you are the way you are. You’ve coped on your own for a long time, even while carrying depression, anxiety, trauma, or feeling like you’re never quite enough no matter how hard you try. You’re strong and capable, but wish things felt easier inside. You want a therapist who can go deep, help you understand your patterns, and support you in building a more grounded and compassionate relationship with yourself.

My Background and Approach

I work relationally and collaboratively, helping you make sense of your inner world—your protective parts, your vulnerabilities, and the beliefs you learned to survive. My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems, CBT, and mindfulness. Together, we’ll slow down and notice what’s happening in the present moment, identify patterns that keep you stuck, transform old narratives, build a stronger sense of self-worth, and help you feel safer and more at ease in your body. We'll move at your pace. In therapy with me, you don't have to hold everything together or know what to do, and your emotional depth is understood rather than pathologized.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens in connection. When we have a safe relationship where we feel seen and accepted, we can explore the most difficult parts of our inner world without judgment. Therapy is one of those rare places where your experience is honored and where change grows from self-understanding rather than self-pressure. Before becoming a therapist, I spent seven months in residence at a Buddhist monastery, immersed in meditation and contemplative practice. That experience continues to shape my values: curiosity, compassion, presence, and a willingness to gently turn toward what is challenging instead of away from it. I aim to bring that grounded presence into therapy and support people in developing self-kindness, emotional resilience, and more meaningful connection with themselves and others. If you’re wanting support that can hold both your strength and your vulnerability, please feel free to reach out.
