My Ideal Client

I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of issues. I like to help people who are feeling low or hopeless and those who are experiencing fear and anxiety about a number of issues. I work with couples who are having difficulty expressing their emotions, wants, and needs in a way in which they feel understood and seen by one another. I have experience working with queer individuals and couples. I have experience working with non-monogamy and alternative relationship dynamics.

My Approach to Helping

I primarily use a person-centered approach to therapy. This means that I will create a safe environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I will help you give meaning to your own lived experience and identity and help you live according to your own values. In my work with couples, I will help you and your partner come to understand and empathize with each other through reflective listening and emotional processing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a proud member of the LBGTQ+ community. I identify as queer and cisgender. I am a Portland native and am deeply connected to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I have a deep love for nature and animals. I believe that spending time connecting with nature and companions has the potential for healing and nurturing. I also identify as kink friendly and sex positive. I have specialized training in human sexuality from Lewis and Clark College. I believe that sexuality is an important aspect of a persons identity and should be celebrated and explored in a safe environment.
