Why I Became a Therapist

I became a therapist because I believe in the power of being truly seen, heard, and supported—especially during life’s most difficult moments. From a young age, I was drawn to understanding people’s emotions and stories. Over time, I saw how meaningful change could happen when someone had a safe space to explore their struggles without judgment. Becoming a therapist allowed me to combine that passion with evidence-based tools to help others heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. It’s an honor to walk beside people on their journey toward clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Existential External link

I use existential therapy alongside CBT and mindfulness because together, they help clients navigate both the practical and deeper emotional layers of life. CBT offers tools to challenge unhelpful thought patterns and mindfulness builds awareness of the present moment, existential therapy invites reflection on meaning, values, and personal responsibility.

  • Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) External link

CBT and Existential combination allows clients not only to reduce symptoms like anxiety or depression, but also to reconnect with a sense of purpose, identity, and choice. It creates space for healing and growth on both a practical and profound level.

  • Mindfulness-based External link
