My Ideal Client

I work with adults who feel impacted by past experiences that continue to shape their thoughts, relationships, or sense of self today. Many of my clients come in feeling stuck, caught in old patterns rooted in family dynamics, belief systems, or relationships that no longer fit. You might be: Processing childhood or developmental trauma, Struggling with relationship patterns/boundaries/trust, Healing from faith-related harm, Navigating life transitions, or Feeling anxious/self-critical/lost

My Approach to Helping

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. IFS helps us understand the different “parts” of ourselves that carry fear, shame, anger, or self-protection—often developed in response to trauma or difficult experiences. Rather than trying to eliminate these parts, we work with them compassionately so healing and change can happen from within. Therapy with me is: • Nonjudgmental and affirming • Parts-based and insight-oriented • Gentle, intentional, and paced to your needs • Focused on building internal safety, self-trust, and emotional steadiness

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a queer therapist who also comes from a religious background, I have personal and professional insight into the ways identity, belief systems, and relationships can collide, especially during periods of questioning, deconstruction, or change. This perspective informs my work, particularly with clients healing from religious and relational trauma. My role is not to tell you who to be or how to live, but to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and move toward a life that feels more grounded and authentic. I support racial & social justice and try to be an advocate for change. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, camping, SUP, music, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
